Paul Slowey currently fills two roles for Telstra Broadcast Services (TBS), developing new business for the TBS Media Practice, and also acting as sales executive for TBS’ interests within the post-production industry.
Slowey is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in both the creative and technical sides of the media and entertainment business. Starting his media career as an offline editor, he quickly realised he was better suited to the technology, holding several technical roles with broadcasters and the vendor community before slipping into sales.
Slowey’s main interest is in new technology arriving in the business, and how to integrate these advancements into existing workflows. As such, he has a keen eye on developments in xR and in the tokenisation of the media industry.
